Day 89

On our walk home this evening, we spotted something on the roof. Ryan had the lovely job of climbing up there to fetch a shiny object. Turns out it was a very large flashlight; it didn't belong to us so we're not entirely sure how it wound up sitting on our roof possibly all winter long. He's keeping this treasure and is quite proud of his find! I'm just happy he didn't slip and land on his head while climbing on/off the roof when it's still pretty icy and slick out there.

Day 88

Look closely...two deer :) Ryan spotted them out the front window yesterday. Keep in mind, we live in the middle of the city. He said "but there are woods across the street". Um, yea, those "woods" are all of 20-30 trees!

Day 86

An attempt to get a group picture of some friends, didn't work so well :)

Day 82

Ryan tested his abilities in hula hooping tonight.
I'm sad I didn't get a picture 2 seconds later when he shot his hands straight into the air and tried (unsuccessfully) swaying his hips!! Good times, good times.

Day 81

Day 79

I love this view. It means nice weather and long walks pushing Sidney on her bike.
Yea for spring!

Day 72

Nice pink glasses honey.
Apparently when you forget your shades on a long drive, you wear whatever you can find :)

Day 71

A skimmer is a glimmer of summer!
It's on the way and we cannot wait.

Day 68

I have always loved to organize. And tonight I was able to organize Ryan's new 'walk-up' bar. It's nothing like our previous custom built bar created just for him, but the space didn't allow for a similar bar so this will have to do. I think it's beautifully organized...with room to spare for more liquor!

Day 63

When something like this arrives on our doorstep, we all squeal with delight. All of us except Grandpa Arnie who gets to spend 15 hours putting it all together!
Oh, but the basement will feel so much more complete when the bar is assembled (and fully stocked, of course!).
